BHOOMI POOJA @ MUDIYANUR SCHOOL

Mudiyanur is a small village near Mulbagal with a population of hardly 2200 people. It has a government school built in 1904 that needs a major overhaul of it’s infrastructure that can accommodate upto 150 children after re-constructing the new building.
RCB is excited to be part of this Green-field project which involves the reconstruction of the main Building, Plumbing, Electricals, Hand Wash area, Play Equipments, Desks, RO Filter, gender toilets and all other requirements to make it a Happy School.
To fulfil this mission, RCB approached Collins Aerospace who gracefully encouraged us by sanctioning Rs. 60 lakhs for this project.
We had nearly 30 Rotarians and representatives from Collins Aerospace present at the location for the traditional Bhoomi Pooja that was participated by not only the heads of the institution but also the students. The kids showed their gratitude through songs and interacting with all of us. It was an event that not only allowed us to participate but also inspired us to get more involved in Community services.
