Embracing “The Magic of Rotary” for 2024-25

# to give time and talents in community work , in social function, and in Club and district Activities.
# to have a Rotary attitude.. humble, not to flatter or boast wealth or achievements.
#to speak with frankness yet, always with sincerity and sympathy.
#and finally .. keep RCB soaring all the time.
The new Rotary year 2024-25 began on 1st July 2024 with the installation of the President, the office-bearers, and directors.
Speaking on the occasion, DG Rtn N S Mahadev Prasad said that the Rotary International theme for 2024-25, “The Magic of Rotary,” emphasizes the transformative power of Rotary International’s work in communities across the world. Our responsibility in India was to reach out to as many of the poor and needy causes with each Rotarian being a participant.
There was excitement all around when the newly inducted RCB President,
Rtn Gowri S. Oza was installed with her entire power house team of Directors, secretary and other senior office bearers. The year ahead can see a wave of change, new ideas and new perspectives in the management of our support to relevant very important and much needed social causes and environment causes.

President Gowri Oza in her powerful and impressive speech to the members urged “Each and every member that what we start today will surely build the foundation for the coming 100th year of Rotary. We should start all our community initiatives today, so that we can reach significant milestones in the 100th year”
She also addressed all the new members stating
”All of you are professionals and business persons in your own right, all of you want to pursue community development, and most importantly all of you joined the Rotary
voluntarily. So, shed any inhibitions and show your interest in the activities of RCB , and you will relish your days with RCB . A quote from poet Rumi made by her highlighted the purpose and objectives of RCB
It is your light, that lights the world.” …
DG Rt Mahadev Prasad in his speech stated that this year the Rotary District has several large objectives: From Maternal and Child health, several Environment improvement projects, Health based and Mental wellness program, program for women empowerment and many many more, that would help and build our support to the very poor and destitute
14 new members were inducted into the Rotary family by President Gowri and her team. The new members were warmly welcomed by all the members promising to support them and guide them.
The evening ended with great Fellowship, lots of fun and bonding together with all our new members. A sumptuous dinner awaited all the members.
The new Rotary year promises to be a period of transformative initiatives and unwavering dedication to community service. With a robust plan and enthusiastic leadership, Rotary District 3192 is poised to make significant strides in various areas, embodying the true spirit of “The Magic of Rotary” and “Team Josh.”
