Laxmi Mysore ( Born 3-2-1976) , completed her Diploma in Fine Arts from Kuvempu University College of Arts and Crafts, Davangere in 1996 , securing Distinction with First Rank and completed MFA from KSOU, Mysore in 2015. She has to her credit , many Solo Art Exhibitions and Group shows all over India which has won rare reviews from Art Critics and overwhelming response from Art lovers. She has participated in numerous State level and National level Art camps, State Lalitha Kala Academy Art camps and exhibitions. She has been honoured by Mahanta Jyothi Prathishtana Trust, Gulbarga with “Kala Jyothi Award”, “ Appreciation Award” by Bodhi Educational and Cultural Trust Bengaluru , “ Golden Merit National Award” by Indian Royal Academy of Art and Culture, Gulbarga. Recipient of the Prestigious ” Yuva kuncha Kalashri National Award 2022″ from Shri Dr D V Halbhavi National Memorial Trust, Dharwad.
Her paintings are on permanent display at Taj Gateway Resort , Chikmagalur. She has served as the Member of the Prestigious Karnataka Lalithakala Academy. Laxmi Mysore currently lives and works in Chikmagalur.
