Abstract
I have painted this sculpture of the famous Belur temple, Karnataka, using sand with acrylics to give it a three dimensional look.
This diptych is typical of my style where the canvas invites you in to explore its mysterious depths. It is inspired by the beautiful vineyards at the foot of Nandi Hills , Bangalore. The painting is very textured and is full of light and shadows.
When life gets monotonous and monochromatic don’t get used to it. For things of colour are always concealed like a lotus in an overgrown pond. The artist urges to find our colour and break the monotony.
The parrot is shown with playing cards just like a pundits parrots people’s future by picking up the cards similarly in this picture the parrot is shown with playing cards.
