Akarṣhaṇa captures the magnetic essence of attraction and prosperity through layered textures and sacred geometry. Inspired by the Saptarishi, celestial sages who guide with eternal wisdom, it becomes a visual mantra of the soul. The painting invokes abundance, alignment, and illumination, bridging earthly energies with the infinite light of the cosmos.
When I visit villages along riverbanks or sea shores, I observe the concentration of a fisherman in his daily routine with fishing, fish, and boat. They work hard, yet find joy in it. An essence I wanted to capture with earth colors on paper.
This diptych is typical of my style where the canvas invites you in to explore its mysterious depths. It is inspired by the beautiful vineyards at the foot of Nandi Hills , Bangalore. The painting is very textured and is full of light and shadows.
In the spirals of creation, we meet again— two faces carved from the same breath of light. Your soul is the river, mine the shore, forever touching, never apart. Through shadow and bloom, we dissolve into each other, an endless hymn written on the skin of eternity.
When life gets monotonous and monochromatic don’t get used to it. For things of colour are always concealed like a lotus in an overgrown pond. The artist urges to find our colour and break the monotony.
