Radiating divine presence, this work invokes Lord Ganesha through sacred calligraphy and mantras layered in texture and light. Yellow embodies self-esteem, orange moral courage, while geometry and form awaken auspicious energy. A spiritual invocation, it honours Ganesha as remover of obstacles, guiding alignment, wisdom, and blessings.
This diptych is typical of my style where the canvas invites you in to explore its mysterious depths. It is inspired by the beautiful vineyards at the foot of Nandi Hills , Bangalore. The painting is very textured and is full of light and shadows.
I have painted this sculpture of the famous Belur temple, Karnataka, using sand with acrylics to give it a three dimensional look.
I observed during my visits to riverbanks and seashores, where fisherwomen work with equal effort as fishermen, yet live joyfully like queens — hence the crown. The painting portrays the strength and resilience of a woman whose life is deeply interwoven with fishing.
