Mindscape

Description

My art journey began with a fascination for nature, ramble in the countryside and capturing it through sketches. My paintings are just at the intersection of landscape and abstraction. I am interested in creating space and distance that feels like the familiar world around us but is ambiguous, general, and abstracted. In my painted world I want visual plains and geometric shapes to intersect, overlap, pile up, and ultimately create a sense of visual distance and depth that we can identify.

My artwork is an honest attempt to address my personal views of the nature. It is a continuous creative process that keeps evolving. Gradually, it evolved and changed. The painting not only remained nature painting but also transformed into abstract directions. Conversing with nature feels like a spiritual process. In those moments, dialogue unfolds on an emotional and soulful level. Observing the fluid colours and magnificent formations in nature, examining the intricate details, and gaining energy from it – all of this is part of my process. Exploring the depths of creativity, expressing it through my art, and finding my own visual language – that’s where the painting comes in
