This linocut portrays the endemic Lion-tailed Macaque of the Western Ghats, one of the most threatened primates in the world. The artwork captures a young macaque resting peacefully in its mother’s lap—the safest place on earth. Through this work, I seek to spread awareness about this vanishing species and emphasize the need to protect their fragile habitat.
