In ‘Rajatendu’, I feature a ‘Silver-Moon-Mandala’, inspired by art nouveau on the one side, that trends an inclination towards a postmodern rendering. Featuring silver gilding with textured details, add depth and intrigue to this work. The radiant blue celestial expanse is deliberately made to sparkle with Cubic Zirconia(American Diamonds) for stars, infusing the work with luxury and allure to capture ingredients for this century art.
Draped in Red and golden attire, friends sharing their secrets. Mandala motifs in background symbolise their whispers, endless talks and tales, the various aspects of their personalities. Decked up in the minimalist jewellery they step into the dreamy world of adulthood.
The sight of flowers instantly changes our mood in a joyful state. In my paintings I try to capture the short lived floral beauty in a realistic way with the vibrant watercolor medium to create an atmosphere to appreciate the gifts nature has given us.
