Abstract
I have painted this sculpture of the famous Belur temple, Karnataka, using sand with acrylics to give it a three dimensional look.
Enigmatic quest for spiritual growth counties unabated. Pursuing individual trajectories with the first step symbolised as Lord Krishna’s foot.
A calf is shown in a green field at night. The influence of miniature painting in this picture has been taken from the painting of Akbar period.
Painting inspired by a 11th Century Chola Bronze, Year – 2018, Current location of the original Sculpture – Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. A humble attempt to bring awareness to our Heritage.
