I have painted this famous Krishna sculpture of the Belur temple, Karnataka on sand with acrylics. This method gives a three dimensional look to the painting.

This diptych portrays the Shivalingam tree with its divine brightly coloured flowers. These flowers with its unique design have always fascinated me and I wanted to capture the beauty of this unusual tree in all its splendour. The canvas is very textured and is full of light , colours and joy.
