{"id":249,"count":2,"description":"Gopinath S has completed his Bachelors in Fine Arts degree [B.F.A] at Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalore with a specialization in sculpture in the year 1997, and went on to pursue his post diploma in sculpture from Maharaja.Sayyaji Rao University at Baroda in the year 2001 and completed his Master\u2019s degree [M.F.A] also in sculpture from Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalore in the year 2005. \n \nHe has participated in several residency art projects, Symposiums and exhibitions both in India and abroad. He has visited countries such as Maldives, Egypt, U.S.A, China and South Korea as part of his residency art projects and sculpture symposiums. Through his career as a sculptor he has shown his works in several prominent art galleries in India and abroad. He has had several group exhibitions and has also has had two solo exhibitions in Bombay and Ahmedabad. He has also organised large scale sculpture symposiums for prominent Art collections such as Sangita Jindal Foundation for arts, Baldota Collection, and Uttarayan art foundation, India. He has played a pivotal role and has helped immensely in the creation of sculpture park project by the B.D.A, Bangalore. His Art works are placed in prestigious collections and is patronized by eminent art collectors such as Sangita Jindal, Harsh Goenka, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Birla arts trust, Lavina Baldota, Rakesh Agarval , Ravi Kavale, H.M.V India , Parachute India Ltd , I.T.C , Uttarayan Art Foundation, Lalith Kala Academy &amp; Shilpa Kala Academy India and \u201cClayarch Gimhae Museum\u201d- South korea, Sculpture Park - Tong-ling City &amp; Hui\u2019an city China, and other several private collections. \n \nHe has won several scholarships, namely, Karnataka Lalitha Kala Academy Scholarship in 1994 &amp; in 1996, Kanoria Centre for arts Scholarship and residency-Ahmedabad in 1998, Arnawaz Vasudev Foundation Scholarship- Bangalore in 2000, National Scholarship by HRD Dept-New Delhi in 2000. \n \nHe also has won several awards for his art works, namely, H.K.
