ESTABLISHED IN 1989
The school is run by the Rotary Club of Bangalore Charitable Trust, formed by the members of the Rotary Club of Bangalore(RCB).
RCB was charted in 1934 and is one India’s oldest and largest Rotary Clubs.
With over 330 members, RCB works to build and strengthen the community through a variety of service activities in Health, Water conservation, Sanitation, Environment, Women and Child Welfare, Youth, International Peace and Vocational Service.
RCB has been responsible for setting up other iconic institutions in and around Bengaluru city like the BMST-TTK Blood Bank, Rotary Muttahapa Attavar Hospital, Shankara Rotary Children’s Library and many others.
It has nurtured over 100 Happy Schools and strengthened the public health system by augmenting over 130 Primary Healthcare Centers, providing dialysis machines to Govt. Hospitals.
Facilities at Rotary Bangalore Vidyalaya
· The school boasts of a very spacious infrastructure with all the amenities a student needs like well-ventilated classrooms, library, science lab, computer lab and playground.
· The multimedia computer lab has been upgraded in 2023 and has state-of-the-art PCs with Networking legal software, Screen Projector and video Conferencing Facilities.
· To keep up with the current teaching methodologies, the school provides E-Learning content (E-Shala) for classes Grade I to Grade X which will further instill inquisitiveness in children to learn.
· The large Auditorium can accommodate over 300 students and is used for events and activities like Children’s Day Celebrations, Teacher’s Day Celebrations, Science Exhibitions etc.,
· The school has filtered drinking water facilities and well-maintained toilets with utmost importance to general hygiene practices.
· Annual medical checkup are conducted for the well-being of staff and students.

SCHOOL CURRICULUM
Rotary Bangalore Vidyalaya offers quality education from Pre-Nursery to X standard in both Kannada and English medium with State Syllabus.
The school has well qualified Teachers who come with a background of abundant teaching experience.
The students go through a series of Formative and Summative assessments for academic excellence during the academic year.
Parents -Teacher meetings are scheduled regular intervals to keep the parents updated on their wards progress in Academics.
We encourage students to participate in all extracurricular activities conducted in a phased manner in the school which helps students to bring out their hidden talents in the areas of music, dance, drama and sports etc.,
The students also get opportunities to go for field visits and excursions to help them connect with the outside world.
Rotary Bangalore Vidyalaya has a school management and monitoring committee.
The committee which is called the Task Force Committee meets every month and is chaired by the Task Force Chairman.
Key issues pertaining to the school regarding general administration, academics, statutory, safety, discipline etc., are discussed and appropriate decisions are made. Resolutions are passed for implementation.
The school will be represented by the Chief Executive Officer and the Headmistress in the Task Force meeting.
