India is home to a wide array of ecosystems and rich wildlife that are facing the threat of extinction. Rapid urbanization, habitat destruction, poaching, and climate change have pushed several iconic creatures to the brink of extinction. Several of these species are unique to India and are found nowhere else in the world.
The Rotary Action Group for Endangered Species (RAGES), an initiative of the Rotary Club of Bangalore, has announced an online competition called “Voices of the Endangered” (V.O.T.E) to raise awareness about wildlife conservation in India.
The V.O.T.E competition aims to bring awareness, foster creativity, and teamwork among students by providing them with a platform to showcase their skills and knowledge in endangered species. With a diverse range of activities and challenging tasks, we are confident that the competition will not only engage and inspire the participants but also contribute to their personal growth and development.
