Rotary Club of Bangalore is proud to announce the 34th year of the Annual
ROTARY YADALAM NANJAIAH SETTY INTER-COLLEGIATE DEBATE COMPETITION 2024

The Rotary Yadalam Nanjaiah Setty Inter-Collegiate Debate is a well-established and successful competition organized and promoted by Rotary Club of Bangalore.  It is being done in conjunction with Rotary Club of Madras, Rotary Club of Cochin and Rotary Club of Mangalore.

The Preliminary round is scheduled for Sunday, 26th May 2024 from 2:00 PM onwards. The FINAL round scheduled on Monday, 27th May 2024 from 6:30 PM onwards and will be held at The Rotary House of Friendship, Lavelle Road, Bengaluru.

• The First prize is Rs. 30,000/- (for the team)
• 1st runner up is Rs. 25,000/- (for the team)
• 2nd runner up is Rs. 20,000/- (for the team)
• 3rd Runner up is Rs. 10,000/- (for the team) Best Debater prize is Rs. 10,000/- (for an individual)

Basic Rules:

Two Teams (two members in each team) from a college

No registration fees.

Only meant for undergraduate (bachelors’) students

Dress code:

Your college uniform or if your college does not have a uniform, formal pant, and shirt preferably with a jacket (for boys and girls) and formal shoes.

Topics for the debate:

Will be varied and will be provided on spot, 5 Minutes prior to the preliminary round and 30 Minutes prior to the final round.

Participants will need to make their own arrangements for travel and stay, at their expense.
