Pushpa Reddy has always found solace and inspiration in art, drawn to colors and
forms from a young age. Her artistic journey began with cherished moments by her
mother’s side at art classes, where each brushstroke expanded the canvas of her
fascination. Growing up, she displayed a natural talent and passion for art, winning
numerous awards in competitions held at Chitra Kala Parishath and various
schools across Bangalore. One of her most treasured achievements was receiving
a prize from the esteemed Nicholas Roerich, who served as a judge at one of the
competitions she participated in.
She went on to complete her B.Sc. in Electronics, a Diploma in Montessori,
Kindergarten and Nursery Education, and a Diploma in Child Education and
Psychology. Though life’s responsibilities briefly paused her creative pursuits, the
spirit of art remained a quiet, persistent thread woven through the fabric of her
existence.
In recent years, Pushpa rekindled her passion for painting under the guidance of
her mentor, M.G. Doddamani, exploring new forms of artistic expression with
renewed vigor. She has participated in numerous exhibitions, with Avyanna being a
notably celebrated one.
