And Still, She Perseveres speaks of bearing weight, not escaping it. It honors endurance not through triumph, but through quiet, deliberate grace. This piece does not shout. It does not beg to be seen. Its pain is not performed, it is held, curved inward, cradled in form. It is intimate. Grounded. True.
