This work was a result of my visit to chennai in 2021 by train. The images I captured while stopping at stations or the images of the church and buzzling life there all made me bring them on this canvas with bits and pieces of the visual memories that impacted me during my visit.
When I visit villages along riverbanks or sea shores, I observe the concentration of a fisherman in his daily routine with fishing, fish, and boat. They work hard, yet find joy in it. An essence I wanted to capture with earth colors on paper.
