In Bloom Again Part of the “Women” Series This piece draws from the symbolism of the Karthigaipoo (Flame Lily) a flower known for its fierce beauty, strength, and deep cultural ties to womanhood and sacrifice. Just like the Karthigaipoo rises boldly from the earth, the woman in this work embodies resilience born from struggle. She blooms, not in spite of pain, but through it.
Arishadvarga, also known as shadripu, refers to the six enemies of the mind: kama (lust), krodha (anger), lobha (greed), mada (ego), moha (attachment), and matsarya (jealousy). Everyone experiences these adversities, which can make life difficult. To attain true consciousness and love, it is essential to practice self-realization and overcome these challenges.
