Oorja can be interpreted as Energy. I feel the colours are alive and passionate and this is what I wanted the viewer to see. I like to use Sanskrit, and relate to the Vedas as I learn both the language and the teachings of the Veda in my own life.
A butterfly symbolizes growth, hope, renewal and the Nepali mother wants just that for her daughter. She aspires for a world with a bright future for her little girl, as the latter gazes at the butterfly fluttering in her small palm.

The sight of flowers instantly changes our mood in a joyful state. In my paintings I try to capture the short lived floral beauty in a realistic way with the vibrant watercolor medium to create an atmosphere to appreciate the gifts nature has given us.
