As a migrant myself, my experience of Bangalore’s relentless growth and transformation into a “concrete jungle” stands in stark contrast to the organic rhythm of my village, where lush greenery and the gentle murmur of water prevail. Each return to Honnapura intensifies this juxtaposition, a dichotomy that lies at the heart of my artistic inquiry. Through my work, I strive to articulate this contrast using a diverse visual vocabulary.
Color is the silent language through which I create my narratives. I use colours to evoke emotions, set moods, and create visual impact. My art is a representation of joy, Hope, timeless beauty and resilience. It is a visual narratives of the complex relationship between humanity and nature.
