The bond between a father and daughter is often understated, yet it is a vital component for the daughter’s well-being. A father guides his daughter by holding her hand, helping her understand and realize her dreams as she navigates through life.
The sight of flowers instantly changes our mood in a joyful state. In my paintings I try to capture the short lived floral beauty in a realistic way with the vibrant watercolor medium to create an atmosphere to appreciate the gifts nature has given us.
A butterfly symbolizes growth, hope, renewal and the Nepali mother wants just that for her daughter. She aspires for a world with a bright future for her little girl, as the latter gazes at the butterfly fluttering in her small palm.
Arishadvarga, also known as shadripu, refers to the six enemies of the mind: kama (lust), krodha (anger), lobha (greed), mada (ego), moha (attachment), and matsarya (jealousy). Everyone experiences these adversities, which can make life difficult. To attain true consciousness and love, it is essential to practice self-realization and overcome these challenges.
