Blueprints of RCBs Services: A Concise Presentation

This Monday at the Rotary House of Friendship, the gathering of the Rotary Club of Bangalore was not about festivities or ceremonial events. Instead, it was a sober, purposeful meeting—an audit of the activities carried out by the various committees so far, and a forward-looking presentation of what each panel envisions for the coming year.
The Community Service Committee opened the proceedings, grounding the conversation in the very essence of Rotary’s mission—service to society. Their report spoke of local projects that addressed pressing community needs, from health camps to neighbourhood initiatives, each designed to touch lives in tangible ways.
Next came Vocational Service, a committee that bridges the gap between skill and ethics. Their audit highlighted training programs that had equipped individuals with practical skills while reinforcing the values of integrity and responsibility in the workplace. The blueprint for the year ahead was ambitious: expanding skill-building workshops, mentoring young professionals, and embedding ethical practices into vocational training.
The Youth Service Committee brought a burst of energy into the room. Their report was peppered with stories of interaction, RYLA camps, and leadership programmes that had ignited sparks of confidence among young participants. Their vision for the next year was equally vibrant—more platforms for youth leadership, The Fellowship Committee followed, reminding everyone that service thrives on camaraderie. Their audit spoke of events that had fostered bonding among members, creating a sense of belonging that transcended professional or personal boundaries.
International Service widened the lens, taking the conversation beyond local borders. Their report highlighted initiatives that had promoted harmony at the global level, connecting the club to international projects and fostering cross-cultural understanding.
The blueprint for the future was to strengthen these ties.
The Committee on Public Image closed the circle with a vital reminder: service must be seen to be believed. Their audit revealed efforts to improve the visibility of the club’s activities, ensuring that the work did not remain hidden in a cocoon. The blueprint ahead was bold—strategies to showcase projects to the wider world, to build a brand image that connected with society, and to make the Rotary Club of Bangalore a name synonymous with impact.
As the meeting drew to a close, what lingered was not just the reports or the plans but the collective spirit of purpose. Each committee had spoken in its own voice, yet together they formed a chorus of service, fellowship, and vision.
In the quiet hum of the RHF hall, the blueprints of service had been laid out—not as sterile documents but as living narratives, ready to unfold in the months ahead. The Rotary Club of Bangalore had looked inward, assessed itself with honesty, and looked outward with resolve.
The leaders of each committee Rtn Dr Maneesh Paul, Rtn Dr Anju Agadi , Rtn Kamalacharan, Rtn RV Bhat, Rtn TV Raghunath, Rtn MC Dinesh, Sec. Rtn Vijay Rao, Rtn Jigisha and Rtn Dr Gertrude Dsouza made their presentation.

Installation Rotaract Club Jyothi Institute of Technology

Installation of Rotaract Club of Jyothy Institute of Technology 2026—27 was conducted on Saturday, 8th August 2026, at the Auditorium, Jyothy Institute of Technology.
The incoming President and Board of Directors were badged by the dignitaries present.
A special highlight was the launch of the Team Visthara logo, inspired by the North Star, symbolising guidance, purpose, unity, and continuous growth while staying grounded in their values.
The event was made special by the presence and support of Rotary partners, District Officials, faculty members, seniors, alumni, Rota ractors, and well-wishers.

Installation Interact Club of Raintree School 

Hosted by Rotary Club of Bangalore

The Interact Club of Raintree School, Mysuru Road was formally installed in a vibrant ceremony held at the school premises on Tuesday, 5th August 2026 at 2:00 PM. The event was hosted by the Rotary Club of Bangalore.
The ceremony was graced by Rtn. Anju Agadi as the Chief Guest and Rtn Vikram Sahgal as guest of honour. Rtn. Vishakha Dalal and Ann Neenu also attended the ceremony.
Rtn. Anju Agadi administered the oath of office to The President, Secretary, Treasurer and Board Members. They were pinned with badges by Rtn. Anju Agadi, Rtn. Vikram Sahgal, Rtn. Vishakha Dalal and Ann Neenu.
The students pledged to uphold the ideals of Interact — leadership, fellowship, and service.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks, followed by the National Anthem.

We visited the Elderly sharing many smiles with them at Sandhya Kirana. We regaled them with Kannada & Hindi songs bringing them much joy! Some of the Elders also participated enthusiastically.
We handed over 5 Carrom Boards for all the Nightingale Elder Care facilities & board games for their recreation.

Kamannahalli Government High School Whitefield | 8 August 2026

Some programs you conduct. And some programs you feel.
Today’s StrongHer 19-1, in collaboration with Indradhanush NGO, was one of those.
There was something different & special in the air today. Maybe it was the energy or the infectious enthusiasm of 240 young girls….
Or perhaps it was the fresh, soulful way in which we have reimagined and repackaged StrongHer over the past month.
StrongHer is not just about self-defence, but it is about helping a young girl know her worth, trust her instincts, find her voice and believe that she has the right to stand strong.
And when self-awareness meets self-defence, something powerful happens — confidence begins to replace fear.
Today, we witnessed that transformation in small but beautiful in their questions, their participation, their laughter, moments — their courage and the way they stood a little taller.
A deeply satisfying program with Rtn. Minnku Buttar, Rtn. Dr.Vimukhta, Rtn. Dr. Vijetha, Rtn. Anusha and the committed Taekwondo team, working together to create a safer, stronger future for our girls, who are tomorrow’s leaders.
STRONG. AWARE. UNSTOPPABLE.

Rotaractors Unite for HPV-Related Cancer Prevention

The 67th awareness session of ShieldAll: United Against HPV-Related Cancers was conducted virtually on August 5, 2026, as an initiative of the Rotary Club of Bangalore in collaboration with the Karnataka State Chapter of the Association of Gynaecologic Oncologists of India (KSC-AGOI) and facilitated by the Rotaract Club of Ba ngalore.
Dr. Shobha K. , Professor & HOD, Gynaecologic Oncology, Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, addressed 170 participants from 17 Rotaract Clubs across India, highlighting the prevention of Cervical and Oropharyngeal cancers through HPV vaccination, lifestyle modifications, early detection, and timely screening.
We sincerely thank Rotaractors Veekshitha and Venkatesh for their excellent coordination in making this nationwide awareness initiative a success.
