This diptych is typical of my style where the canvas invites you in to explore its mysterious depths.
It is inspired by the beautiful vineyards at the foot of Nandi Hills , Bangalore.
The painting is very textured and is full of light and shadows.
When I visit villages along riverbanks or sea shores, I observe the concentration of a fisherman in his daily routine with fishing, fish, and boat. They work hard, yet find joy in it. An essence I wanted to capture with earth colors on paper.
A contemplative Buddha emerges from flowing patterns, each stroke a whisper of stillness. Golden lotuses blaze like fragments of the sun, offering renewal and awakening. Geometry and texture unite in a meditative rhythm, where sacred calm meets vibrant life, inviting the viewer into a timeless sanctuary of peace.
