AICFB National Women Chess Championship for Visually Challenged 2025
The AICFB National Women Chess Championship for Visually Challenged 2025, will be held in Bengaluru from Friday, 10th January to Sunday, 12th January, 2025.
This Championship is being organized by All India Chess Federation for the Blind (AICFB) in association with Karnataka State Chess Association For Visually Challenged, and hosted by Rotary Club of Bangalore (RCB) and National Association for the Blind, Karnataka (NABK).
This is an official selection championship in which players will be selected for the forthcoming AICFB National Chess Championship and thereafter for the International Chess Event.
As per the Rules, there will be 7 Rounds of 3 hours each.
The following is the tentative program.
Thursday, 9th Jan
Participants, escorts and officials would start coming in from all around the country. Arrivals may start as early as afternoon or evening, depending on different arrival timings of trains.
Dinner will need to be provided to those who arrived by a specific time.
Friday, 10th Jan
Inauguration, followed by 2 rounds (6 hours of playing time)
Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Snacks and Dinner will need to be provided.
Saturday, 11th Jan
3 Rounds will be played (9 hours of playing time)
Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Snacks and Dinner will need to be provided.
Sunday, 12th Jan
2 Rounds will be played (6 hours of playing time)
Followed by Prize Distribution
All will depart after the Prize Distribution
Breakfast, Lunch, and Evening Snacks will need to be provided.
