PRAGATI PATHA 2022 – Annual Rotary Job Fair & Recruitment Drive

The Vocational Service Committee of RCB organised – Pragati Patha 2022 – the Annual Rotary Job Fair and Recruitment Drive at Ramanaryan Chellaram College of Commerce & Management on August 26, 2022.

Put together by RCB, Rotary Vijayanagar and the Government Ramnarayan Chellaram College of Commerce and Management, Department of Collegiate Education, Karnataka Skill Development, GOK and Teamroll Global Services Pvt.Ltd., The Job Fair saw over 7,000 registrations of interested candidates, while 223 companies participated. The recruitment drive was very well received with 2,237 candidates short-listed and 1,725 offers rolled out.

The Job Fair was conceptualised by Rtn. Srihari of RCB and Rtn. Nandgopal of Rotary Vijayanagar, with support of Vocational Service DirectorRtn. Shailesh Shah, Rtn. Jigisha Rajguru, Rtn. Archana Muthappa and other members of the Vocational Service Committee of RCB.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the recruitment drive was on hold over the last two years. This year Corporates & Industries including FMCG, E-Commerce, Start-Ups, Retail, Banking and Financial Services, Automobile, BPO, Travel and Tourism participated in large numbers to recruit candidates for various
positions. As an outcome of this Job Fair and Recruitment drive, Rotary sought to connect job seekers with corporates, thereby enabling equitable social growth across all sections of society.
