FORUMS – a game changer for Entrepreneursa Joint Meeting with Rotary Bangalore Midtown& Rotary Bengaluru Manyata

On 8th of May, Mr Jimmy Mistry, who is a social entrepreneur, designer and hotelier was our special guest for the evening-who gave a talk on ‘Forums-a game changer for entrepreneurs’. Mr Mistry spoke candidly about his humble background and his life journey and how after facing many obstacles-he founded the world’s first business platform-The Della Leaders Club (DLC). The Della group has 6 successful businesses under his leadership- Della Resorts, Della Adventure Park, Della D.A.T.A., Della by JM and DLC. He strongly believes that true success is measured only by the number of human lives one has touched.

The talk by him was followed by a special Bohri Thaal dinner on the terrace that was kindly sponsored by Rtn. Akil Rassai and Ann. Sakina Rassai. We thank them for this wonderful experience. There was an atmosphere of bonhomie and excitement while we alleagerly waited for this unique, traditional food fiesta.

The Bohri meal is a beautiful celebration of food where 8 people-friends of family eat together from a single platter (Thaal) laden with delicious cuisine. This so resonates with our Rotary philosophy where we all get together to participate in fellowship events and projects forthe good of the community.

Around 140 Rotarians, Ann’s and Guests attending the event thoroughly enjoyed it.
