Inauguration of happy schoolat Avalakuppe, NelamangaIa

On 29th March, members of the Rotary Club of Bangalore went for the inauguration of the Happy school at Avalakuppe, Nelamangala. The project was sponsored by M/s. Recipharm Pharmaservices

Pvt. Ltd. at a cost of Rs. 14 lakhs, thanks to Rtn. Kavita Muthapp. The funds were used to construct one staff and two student bathrooms; waterproofing, plastering, painting of all the buildings, installing water filters, new black boards, sports equipment and Nanhi Kali equipment for classes 1-3. We thanked Rtn. Manjunath and team for the excellent execution of the project.

The school teachers and staff has organised a warm welcome for Rotarians and they expressed their gratitude, which would promote more students joining the school. President Rtn. Sanjay Udani, Secretary Rtn. M C Dinesh, Community Service Director Rtn. Solomon Paramel and other Rotarians along with the school teachers cut the ribbons to inaugurate various sections of the school. The school itself was looking bright and cheerful which could be reflected on the excited faces of the students present there. Rotarians were presented with some healthy local produce by the school staff to show their appreciation & gratitude.

Post the school visit, Rtn. Gowri’s family-Sumana and Sridhar organised a delicious lunch at their farmhouse nearby for all of us. We thank them for their warmth and hospitality. – Rtn. Sneh Sheikhawat
