Iin Aankhon Ki Masti

It was a show that was performed to songs picturised on the Bollywood Diva Rekha an actress par excellence. To fill her shoes was impossible but the Rotary family tried it.
The President Girish said “I want a show that will entertain as well as bring the Rotary family together for a fun filled evening” and that’s just what happened. Annettes, Anns, Inner Wheel Member, Rotarians came together to create magic.
Putting a show on Zoom isn’t easy but Chitra Ganapathy and her team are a power house of creativity and no challenge is too great for them. Selecting songs, editing, recording videos and then putting them together, searching for locations and with much shooting and reshooting it IN AANKHON KI MASTI was a job that took a month Everybody worked at it with a smile, the end result was a beautiful fun evening.

Rotary appreciated the following ladies and gentlemen Charming Rtn. Anu Varma, Romantic Ann. Rekha & Rtn. Shailesh Rudra, Ann. Megha Mukund & Annette. Madhu with their captivating smiles all the way from USA, Ann Padmini Nagachandra and her sensitive portrayal of broken heart. Expressive Ann. Sudha Dinesh, Scintillating Ann Ashwini Surendar and her fabulous performance, Ann Insiya Vagh & Annette Sanaya Vagh bought the song alive on
screen, cute is the word that comes to mind. Ann Usha Nair’s dreamy portrayal of a women in love, Ann Geeta Shenoy’s euphoric dance in the wind took us with her on a romantic journey, Ann Tasneem Siwani transported us to an era lost in time, Ann Shilpa Rudra & Annette Sanjana Rudra had us dancing with them, Ann Tasneem Jiruwala & Rtn. Musten Jiruwala romancing in the rain was mesmerising. It’s another matter they came down with a cold!! Oh yes how can we forget the guest appearance by the Director Chitra Ganapathy and Rtn. Musten Jiruwala romance covid style.

Protocol was maintained!! Rtn. Usha Subbu’s crisp and informative MCing for the show. Last but not the least the Tech
team Rtn. Musten, Rtn. Samrat and Rtn. Sandeep the men who worked quietly behind the scene. Appreciation to the gracious audience.
